I've read a ton of Vampire Books from the good (Interview with a vampire) to the bad (Twilight).

In regards to Twilight - I hate it. I used to like it when I was 13 and now that I'm 18 I hate it. It's so creepy. Edwards a pedo and a stalker! Seriously who watched someone while they sleep! Plus I find that there is little to none character development and overall I find better FANFICTIONS better than the series.

Sookie Stackhouse Series - I'm currently reading and it's alright at best. I enjoy it for simply one character (Eric) and I do watch the TV show (True Blood). It's still includes the same pedo stuff (25+ vs 200+) but atleast it has character development and the main character isn't a complete idiot. Obviously my favorite character isn't a main character but this has a good twist on it since Vampires went mainstream. Overall, I'd recommend.

Vampire Diaries - It was okay I read it a few years ago and I remember that I got bored with the brothers. Honestly I wouldn't recommend unless you're a young teen.

Vampire Academy - I actually really enjoy this series. It keeps me going. I don't get bored and I have trouble putting down the book. Recommend.

Interview with a vampire - MUST READ. Seriously it is my favorite vampire book ever. <3333

Chronicles of Vladimir Tod - It was surprisingly good. I read it last year on a plane from Arizona to Pennsylvania and I read it straight. I like this serious for the character development throughout the books. Great Plots!

My GF likes to read all those vampire books. She would def be a fang banger if vamp were real
