I spend a bit too much time reading political writing, philosophy writing, and any writing that combines both categories.

I also read a lot of fantasy, crime/forensic mysteries, and comedy (mostly online e.g. Maddox, Somethingawful, so on).

Mystery and Medieval Fantasy are the best by far IMO..I like Medieval Fantasy more though, plots seem much more..happy..

When i sometimes read a book its mostly some crime story, a guy was mudered in a small village, alot of people seems suspecious but who is the muderer, that type of genre i like the most
