Anyone who recommended or ever recommends Eragon should be taken out and shot.

That said, 'The Lamb, The Gospel according to Biff, Jesus's childhood pal'' by Christopher Moore is short, entertaining, and probably the funniest book I've ever read. Highly recommend it.
