Don't you mean Thom Merrilin Zekey4?

Anyways, I find the wolfbrother ability rather cool. Has anyone ever role-played the table-top rpg version of WoT?

As for my favourite forsaken, I think it would have to be Be'Lal or Moghedien because they are sly and cunning and work from the shadows and strike with deadly efficiency tongue.gif.

Wow, they turned it into a game? Apparently I don't keep up with things as well as I thought tongue.gif

The first few books were amazing.
Then, after around book 6 or so, Jordon lost the plot.
He
writes more about, what every single person is wearing, cups of tea,
faile and perrin whining about nothing (this takes 3 books) than
anything else.
Some parts are good, others are boring.

Oh god, this is why I stopped at Lord of Chaos

I decided that reading for pleasure pales in comparison to a video game, unfortunately, since I'd rather take action than read five or more pages regarding one setting visualization Jordan sets up =\

I think you'd be surprised at how good the entire series is. Sure, 10000 + pages of reading isn't a turn-on wink.gif but it really is worthwhile to undertake this enterprise.

I don't think the series is anywhere near a close when it comes to the storyline, is it? All I see is new plot twists that would lead to further complications down the road, more and more conflicts to resolve in the story, I could see it going to 20 books, but then again I haven't read all of book 6 yet, so eh. wink.gif

by not spoiling the books, by book 11 it seems like the last battle is coming soon. It hints towards that. I would say ends at about book 14-16 but jordan could stretch that a lot though. Realistically 14-16 books total tho.

I read them all except the latest one. I also read the prequel to the WoT series, New Spring.

I see...I still think I'd rather wait, if I really get into it again I'll just be waiting for him to write his next books, which I don't have the patience for ~_~

but thanks for that info
