I loathe it. The fact that Dan Brown blatantly makes up information (citing a recent organization as "ancient"), the fact he claims everything is completely true like a prophet, and the fact that it's basically deserving only of the Conspiracy section makes me hate it. It's a horrible piece of literature. It's not even that. It effectively rapes history.

Thats unaccurate.

You can't expect a science fiction book to be an history book, but so much of what he writes is absolutely true and confirmed...
I learnt so much from his books, a lot more then i learn in my history classes.

I'm reading it right now...and I gotta say it's a very superb book. I intend to read Angels and Demons afterward, and if I liked that I'll read Deception Point, another one of Brown's Books.

i prefer angels and demons over it, havent gotten to deception point and digital fortress

the da vinci code was filled with non important religious information that was thrown in their that out i found slightly annoying, but overall it was a really good book

didnt dan brown get sued(is that how you spell it? -.- ^^) because another author wrote a similar story line to this, and dan brown supposedly stole it?

yea, however i dont really understand how can you "steal" something like this, that author surely did not make up this idea. It would be kinda the same as stealing the idea of God or w/e.

If you don't want to read a book with Bibilacal information, then why read a book with Bibilical information?
