Authors - Michael Crichton, Robert Ludlem, Richard Adams, etc.
if you like sci/fi etc, try Crichton (creator of ER, wrote Jurassic Park, etc.)
if you like action books, try Ludlem (Jason Bourne books).
Adams is an old author of some very.. interesting books, including Watership Down (about rabbits, but GREAT story..) and Shardik.

other books id recommend include - Abhorsen trilogy*, Shades Children ( i think thats the name) The Inferno (the greek one),
or if you like weird stuff, maybe Cirque Du Freak.**
*includes ''magic''
** about vampires
(yeah, i love to read. but i also play football, basketball, and bench. just saying before im accused of
being a turbo nerd or wahtever for putting down a few authors/books).
