no..they are not. Catelyn Stark fucking pisses me off, she fucking ruins everything. I can barely stand reading her chapters, and I have to skip the italicized sentences (her thoughts) because they are fucking annoying.

Anyways, they are a fairly slow and long series, too political and not enough action. GRR Martin likes to end the chapters right as they are getting good, and by the next chapters the good part is gone and done. The Drizzt series is unbeatable, well the Dark Elf Trilogy is anyways. The sequels kind of pissed me off. Fucking Cattie-Brie ranting.gif .

I've read almost all (except the newset one). Forgotten Realms books are too "kind" and "sweet", I mean every character (even the dark elf) is very good and hates evil blablabla. But I still have read it tongue.gif. After several books it gets boring. Best ever forgotten reals series was written by Elaine Cunningham (sorry for wrong spelling of the name ;p) Councelors & Kings. Brilliant story. Anyway I love fantasy books! ;p

yeah, I just started reading the prequel trilogy of books to the series (homeland, exile, sojourn) and I am at about page 86 and I love it. Salvatore is soo good at depicting battle scenes, I just love it, anyone else read this series? You should check it out if you like fantasy/action

I guess u finished it by now?tongue.gif

Is it worth reading?

Homeland was definately one of the best fantasy novels I've ever read.
