Seems like an apocalypse is coming? Anyway pretty interesting I'm not into "modern" world settings or how to say it. I'm more into medieval fantasy But so far so good I have to say. Well written and thought out.

Yeah, now that I sit back and look at the whole picture, it's pretty non-original. So I'm trying to redo the whole thing. I have a pretty good idea of how it's going to go, but I don't know how to get there. I need at least an introductory chapter.


Medieval fantasy used to be all I read, and it very well may be my favorite genre still. But, I've been into science fiction lately, so that's what I'm trying to do xD

Àh I see, got any series or so that you could recommend to a die hard medieval fantasy fan? I read Prince of Thorns, but it's more post apocalypse turned into medieval but still good C:

I actually haven't read any Fantasy stuff since I was like 14-15, so anything I can suggest would be for a younger audience =/
I've recently been trying to read stuff that is "good for you," you know, all the classics that they would make you read in school -.-

I actually don't care if its for 'younger audience' as long as it's a good and well written story tbh... Like Eragon is for the younger audience I think and it's pretty good. And tbh most things if you read them in Swedish (that is my main language) they seem really... ><

Aah >< I tried the Iliad but didn't have the mental fortitude to keep going with all those complicated and mind devastating sentences ._.

Okay guys, I'm getting really excited, coming up with all these new ideas xD
But I still have no middle ground to get from the intro to where the main story takes off. Here's a little preview of the rest of the story, if I ever finish it lol

Running from those things, I lock myself in the small armory. The tiny room almost immediately fills with a thick white fog. I suddenly feel dizzy and fall, slamming my head against a gun rack on my way to the floor.

It must be some sort of chemical gas as I’m paralyzed, able to only slightly move my aching head. The solid steel door somehow creaks open. I must not have shut and locked it completely. I crane my neck in an attempt to view that which opened the door. However, it remained out of sight. I can hear footsteps, a sliding noise followed by a sickening crunch every time pressure is applied to the ankle. One is approaching me. I don’t know what to do. I don’t know what I can do aside from play dead, but even that won’t help me. A meal is a meal, live or dead. A damp, clammy hand drops over my nose and mouth, the smell is so horrid and indescribable. My head is jerked sideways, past the point I couldn't turn on my own. The thing appears to be staring straight at me, but I can’t tell as its eyes are nothing but sockets, one with an optic nerve still dangling past the crooked nose. I stare into the looming darkness for ages. I close my own eyes and almost immediately feel its rotted teeth closing on my neck.


/e I would also like to say that I just wrote this, so it hasn't been completely checked for quality/errors etc. beyond Word's spell check.

After this Thursday I will hopefully write some more (once the semester is over). I think if I sit down and really try, I could get a lot done.
