The books were definetly way better but thats how it usually goes. I think from a stand alone seting most people i talked to who hadnt read the book enjoyed the movie but it was a total butchering of the book. I went in expecting that but it was really lame indeed. The whole Saphira growing up in seconds was lame as well as just like some said the Urgals being humanoid. Urgals are suppose to have horns coming out of their heads... Were they just trying to save on the budget? I dunno some stuff sucked some was okay but i went in expecting that ...

I agree with you 100%, I've yet to read the second one yet though, about to borrow it from a friend though, he told me the second one was way better, so I'll soon find out smile.gif
