i really thought that book 6 (Lord of chaos) was the best! so much happens in this book. The later bits of the series have a lot of detail, but thats why you can sort of skim read a little bit....

ive heard that sanderson really brings the series back to what it was in the beginning around book 12. Books 7-10 have been harder to get through, but i'm still truckin'

Book 6 was the only time during the series that I had to force myself to read it, book 6 seemed to just drag with nothing interesting happening.

Now that i'm done book 6, I have to agree. I have a tendency to spoil things by wikipedia'ing and such and I read about the battle of Dumai Wells and I think I was about 7/8ths through the book thinking "when the hell is this going to happen?" and then was sorely disappointed/annoyed when the entire climax of the entire sixth novel seemed to occur in about five minutes of reading at the end. Jordan has too many subplots and characters in my opinion. But with all that being said, I love the series so far as a whole.

I don't think I spoiled anything here for those who haven't read; sorry if I did.

The first few books in WoT are great. After these, Nynaeve tugs her braid, Elayne doesn't think she can live up to her mother's reign, Rand looks harder than he used to, Egwene has boobs, Aviendha doesn't understand wetlanders, Lews Therin is crazy, Mat bangs ladies, Perrin's shoulders are suited for a smith, men gossip, women are impossible to understand, everyone is handsome or past pretty, all necklines are fully described, and about ten major events occur (one per book).

/e that being said, WoT > Sword of Truth, though there are many parallels

why is RJ so descriptive of everyones boobs?

"her low cut dress confined her massive bosom such that with every step it threatened to fall out"

like wtf is this WOT porn?
