I may have started reading the first book, but I never really got into it.

Shadow's of the Apt is my new favorite series.... supposed to be 10 books long. (5 out so far)

The Ender's series seems totally different compared to his other books.

I'm seriously considering picking up Shadow of the Apt series myself...Empire in Black and Gold is only like 4 dollars on Amazon, so it might be time for me to pull the trigger.

Do it! Yeah...I loved the Ender series; Ender's Game most of all. The Alvin Maker series was neat too.

The only thing I dont like about Card's novels is that his religious theology/allegory becomes pretty apparent in many of his books. It's not a bad thing, it's just not my cup of tea.

But yea, hope Shadow of the Apt series is as good as people say. Ordering it this weekend.
