I also read it in HS and thought it was one of the best books assigned. It was difficult in the beginning, but a lot of "classics" are like that.

Yeah that's true. I thought the same about To Kill a Mockingbird. It was hard in the beginning, but it's overall one of my favorite books.

I didn't care for it too much, personally.
