If you're not an avid reader I wouldn't get The Stand, it's a very good, but very long book.

behind it is
the dark half
needful things

and dreamcatcher was better on film...

Cell was crap, antuclinatic predicable crap
Salems was predictable but a fun read

he wrote that series out of highschool if i remember correctly


make sure you get the newer reprints, they proofread the books over a 2nd time and smoothed them out a bit, just makes reading them a bit easier

i read the first 4>was so long waiting for series continue i forgot about it>last 1 i read from that series they were on Blain the train going somewhere and the book ended>that was 10+years ago>Ill have look for last 1s

I used to read every Stephen King book that I could get my hands on when I was younger, out of those options The Stand (extended version) is by far the best, its a great book.
