i just started reading the sin war series. there is no need to read the other books before the sin war trilogy. the sin was series are the lead up to tristram. the other books are all stories and tales from way before that time.

that is as far as i know anyway, but from what i have found out the previous books do not need to be read before the sin war trilogy

I've read the Sin War series and I can tell you that they are utter shit.

Just to make a point that I'm not simply bashing sci-fi/fantasy books, I loved the MTG series (especially the anthologies) and the Warcraft series are an entertaining read as well for the most part.

i would read a book.. if it WAS diablo 1-3 like the games actually explaining in detail whats happening and what forth... but lord of the rings > wow boring... lol but really gg at times so i just cant stop reading these.. cause i seen movies...

i have played diablo games... so if they went from diablo 1 and made the story a book from diablo 1 starts - diablo 3 ends... ( ofc d3 would need to be released first ;P) would be a good read imo
