If you like Vampire books and stuff like that that isn't as bad as twilight, read the Anita Blake vampire hunter series. Laurrel K. Hamilton is the author

Try Shade's Children. It has the same kind of dark undertones in a science fiction world. I think it's probably around that same reading level also.

If youve read The Giver you should read the other books based around it such as Finding Blue and look for other books by that author

i myself realy enjoyed those

Good idea. Also, if you are a poetry sort of guy, I think everyone should read "Les Fleurs du Mal" by Baudelair (sp?)
