People are slinging the word emo around too much these days, your desensitizing the genre of pieces based around the human emotions.

Labeling poetry as emo, eh be more specific, cause the real pieces out there worth reading based on real emotion are just getting labeled emo, and aren't getting the merit remanded of the genre.

Soon enough, people are going to label Romeo and Juliet as straight emo. Again, labeling things emo = reckless.

I'm talking how everyone throws the word around. I'm not saying that shit isn't lame. I'm saying everyone labels anything about emotions "emo" after they see one key word, like anything lovey dovey, or anything about crying or sadness.

There are legitimate pieces out there with true pain or torment, or true love that people are ignorant about and automatically label emo without any merit.
