i wrote this just yesterday. for the one i love, the one il never see again.cry3.gif
also. im having the worst day of my life. quite a story of trust. betrayal. and loss.

The Role of a Lifetime

if you play a role long enough, and really commit, does it ever become real? could i... become real?

my life has always felt like an unanswered question.
a string of days and nights. waiting for something to happen
wherever i am, were some how connected, i can feel you, with me
your what makes me real. and i never wanna go a day without you
because something as simple as seeing you smile, is the highlight of my week
you, your part of me, a part im not willing to let go of.
and im going to hang onto you for deal life.
please. say yes. say you'll be with me.

most actors toil in obscurity, never stepping into the spotlight.
but if you hone your craft. work diligently. you might just find yourself cast, in the role of a lifetime...

This is a poem i wrote recently in memory of my grandfather passing away.

a grandfather's memory

1) a lotus slowly blossoms, reluctant of its demise
2) enjoying every second beneath the most serene and dark of skies
3) each moment never wasted, cherished deep within
4) old memories fail to fade alongside new ones that begin

5) an old man sits and watches as a child laughs and plays
6) the youth within his eyes uncertain of past days
7) he radiates with energy and knows they're both the same
8) but his youthful spirit has expired his old frame

9) he once told me he didn't know where time has gone
10) So many years past, so many memories drawn
11) I couldn't answer so instead silently in thought
12) so many lessons learned, but even more that he has taught

13) the sun set that day, and i understood what you meant
14) the birth of friendship with those in which moments are spent
15) time always passing so quickly with equivalent exchange
16) pride in all that you've given, and all that was left to gain

17) never forgotten, at our side you will stay
18) the love that we share will flourish with each lasting day
19) living on in our hearts and cherished in our minds
20) your memory never lost to the atrophy of time

I wake up the day is night
everything blurred and out of sight
I put my fingers apon a glass
remembering nothing but the past
my vision isnt what it use to be
now i have a dog to help me see
I walk not knowing were ive been
I rely on my one best friend
he keeps me clear of death's cold hand
for im a depserate old blind man

Mystery

Serene, Ireful

Crystalline drops of dew dropping from the slick palm trees at the crack of dawn

Malefic shadows grow long as the day dies with a witchlike cry from a miscreant bird

Zeus calling down refreshing rain revigorating run-down soldiers and fallen trees

Raucous thunder and crackling lightning strive to destroy as Thor seeks annihilation

The softness of the snow as it covers the marred coconuts underneath

Exuberance, Depression

The island is two black and white kings on opposite sides of a chess board

These days the phones bleed thick fog and bad news, so let’s ghost walk the town in ground pulling boots painted with gore of the dead minds all around inside the glass city hungry for weakness. Offer noise for the global eroticism (though dying), that which; causes soul dust to drift and divide, cosmic tidal waves of content, star-blanket volcanoes, of the future colored kisses from all next year’s tomorrows. Did you know we can release the warm morning sun that slips between all senses with an invigorated thought? We can give birth to all mystical change, Blessed are we who burst into stars.

You already read this, and I loved your positive yet, somewhat confused feedback (because I love the confusion state of mind)

Last Letter to Eve

Remember always the lesson of two trees
As one teaches another reaches, as good soil sows good seed.

Eve, what grows in you are great trees,
such things never still standing, even fallen
Oh, such a reach, branches without end, they seem.

Soon I shall depart, when your womb finds root, I go.
Between two worlds, my pivots' rise and fall.
Looking behind I shall find a world we gave to each
from the fruit of two trees. As for me I shall return
some day, in my silent ways, upon my silent waves.

When I see you and him, husband and wife, as one together
resting beneath great trees, perhaps over eternity. Quietly
I shall pass, the lonely traveler presented charities.
Gifts opened from you, from yours
as far as my spectacles would see.
Eve, so many trees granting to be touched,
to leave with them my own unique
knowledge's spun from stories of us. Me.

If searching, I am found, seeking for the few confused
whom in seeing me saw the darkest umbrae. Surroundings,
with white light's emitting from holes that fade.
These children I shall, in memory of your memories, subdue.
Lest they be left to Father, their ideas and intents,
and I, but a short time of wraith for my continuance.

Yes, proclaiming truths when of a distant past
a serpent beside, below at your feet, freely sat.
Both in our own ways curled, attempting that fruits sweet peril.

I look forward's to tomorrow, the children of yours;
in looking back they will realize those path's that led me here,
the many shells I left, shed reminders.
Dried Skins, found in time to honor me, as I search my world
through thriving thorns. Above me, Eve, all these trees.

For within you resides the respites of men,
both their cooling and ever changing shades.
Inside each color finds a part of you imbued,
those parts that draw tendencies, to the eyes.

Eve, you are the measured hue of Man.
Who else makes a barren ground fertile for trees?
For this society in honor of you
Eve, I shall call this forest…Humanity

Listen, my children, for I shall now begin my tale, inspired by the sudden rush of libido to my testosterone-fueled friend (so-called for a long time until now) or organ; whatever you want to call it. Many a woman, for a long time, has been dissatisfied with the humble offerings which I've been able (or unable) to provide. These offerings, then, haven't matched up to many other mammals, males, elephantines, whatever. Things have changed. That's what things do: they change. The blood-vessels, clotted as they have been for a long time, have now opened; I am potent again.
