there are hundreds of good fantasy novels, depens on what you are looking for

you can try some warhammer novels, gotrek&felix books are just amazing
or you can try Dark Tower series by Stephen King

or you can try Elizabeth Haydon books, or Patricia McKillip or Bill Pulman, all three of them have written great book series

Whatever you read, don't buy the Sword of Truth series. It's complete and utter shit.

You cannot be serious. I'm going to stop there before I fucking rage all over you kid.

I admit the series died out in the end but it started off as one fucking amazing piece of work. I HIGHLY suggest reading The Sword of Truth series, takes fantasy and sci-fi to a whole new level. War, Pain, and Love become more real to you then anything else.

My favorite fantasy / sci-fi series had to be Homecoming by Orson Scott Card. While the Ender series got all the limelight, the Homecoming series was the real masterpiece.

I'm big fan of any books by John Ringo. More militaristic then most sci-fi books though.
