i'm on like pg. 400 about and its pretty good so far, nothing amazingly exciting has compared to any of the surprises in the first 2 books yet though.

still a good book though.

Just finished it last night.

overall a decent read I guess. Only two or three major plot twists (one of which is very good, tho) , with a very anti-climactic ending.

The next book has to be better. Paolini is getting alot of bad press on this one. He can't play the "15 year old author" card anymore.

I just read the first really good twist hopefully the next book is better, i still enjoy this one a lot just not as much as the first 2

i read it, i think its a lil cheesy but hey! i like cheesy books

I feel this is the weakest book of the series so far. I'm looking forward to the next, regardless.

How obvious was it that glaedr was going to die after he gave Eragon his heart of hearts?

i finished it last night. i liked it... i like details to give me a overall mental picture etc.

however the only thing i was dissapointed in was the like last 2 chapters of the book... it seemed like he rushed to finish them... and reading his prologue or his epilogue i forget which he talks about editing the book down from a lot more pages because some people in his publishing//editing or w/e offices bitched about it. wtf is that? let him write the damn book. ;/
