fantasy got too clichéd after Tolkien... read general fiction or non-fiction, history, philosophy; even science fiction like Ray Bradbury is good

I went with Medevil Fantasy but to be a little more specific, I like swords and sorcery type books like Magic the gathering r.A. Salvadore, Harry potter( I know it's not medevil, but they do have dragons and magic, you can't go wrong with dragons and magic) I also read alot of other stuff but this is my personal preference.

Same as me and about 4 other people so far. Why do you think we play diablo2 and Wow and guild wars? I don't think it is coincidence, or else we would be blowing each other up in DoD or Cs wink.gif.

All kinds of fantasy smile.gif WoT , Goodkind - SoT , LoTR ofc wink.gif , Terry Brooks, Eddings, Robin Hobb, Rowling, Katharine Kerr, George R. R Martin , Elizabeth Moon..

some of what i've read, all where good and are recommended..
Biggest favourite author though are: Goodkind smile.gif
