I'd recommend NOT reading anything written in the last 20 years. King lost it around the time he gave up drugs. Possible exception for the Dark Tower series. I wasn't a big fan of it, but some swear by it.

Lie. Of course most of his best books are those written in 70s and 80s, but there are good books among these more recent, even not including DT Series. Unfortunatelly I can't name any examples because I do not know English titles sad.gif

Never read any of The Dark Tower series though..

IT is one of his older ones. And I'd agree on that one. DT just didn't do much for me. It was supposedly his big fantasy epic (of sorts) and I found it very much wanting.

Good list. And with the exception of the Green Mile, all of those were written more than 20 years ago or close to it. During his coked up out of his mind phase.

Carlin was also better on drugs.

Drugs make you creative and interesting.

Try some.
