I'd say Deathly Hallows, it was the most intense and emotionally charged of the seven books. Also it was the conclusion of the series, the end of an epic tale.
Rowling really shows off her work here and how she has developed as a writer (the style of the first book is vastly different from the last, SS reads almost like Ronald Dahl, the guy who wrote Willy Wonka, Matilda, James and the giant Peach).

The only problem I had with Deathly Hallows was that the "wandering" scenes were a bit dragged out.

Also more importantly Luna was not included in the epilogue sad.gif

Not true. While taking a test in my English class I saw my teacher reading Deathly Hallows. And he has his BA and MA in British Literature and probably other things I don't know about.

Read all the books, they're fine for kids books, but if you're above 16 you should be reading something better.
And by that I mean something with better prose, better characters and an overral better story.

Whoever compared Rowling to Dahl is a fucking moron.

I honestly used to think anyone that liked Harry Potter was a nerd and so on...
Until I actually picked it up and read it.

Now I have read them all, over and over again.
They really are great.

Deathly Hallows would have to be my favorite.
Possibly because it was the last of the series, and just gets more in depth and explains everything that was left covered up.
Great books
10/10 for all
