You mean John Grisham, and his law books.

Hmm those are pretty good reads as well.

I've read:
The Firm
A Time to Kill
The Chamber
and my favorite... The Rainmaker (gogo universal health care smile.gif)

I've only read two of his:
Red Storm Rising and Rainbow Six (and this was a while ago)

Rainbow Six was ok (the ending was pretty funny) but I thought Red Storm Rising was much more interesting in depicting the effects of modern warfare.

I'm not really a fan of those types of books though.

Everything by Douglas Adams. I especially enjoyed Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency and Long Dark Tea Time for the Soul when I was your age.

the counte of monte cristo.
1200 pages but i swear to you the best novel you will EVER read.
set in like 19th century france, in an aristocratic society. story of a mans vengence on his three best friends who frame him and cause him complete ruin. but when he breaks out of prison he strikes it rich and sets out to give his buddies a lil payback

Not sure which count of monte cristo you picked up but the unabridged version I read was 500ish pages. Aside from that it is definitly worth a read.

Other choices:
Three Musketeers
East of Eden
1984
Brave New World
Grapes of Wrath

drawing a blank atm but those are all worth checking out at some point.

you can find the rest from there.

It's a fantasy twist on modern theology. very good read.

For nonfiction I suggest reading an brief history of time. I enjoyed it, and Stephen hawking is our present day einstein.
