I just read 2 other books in the series of Dan Brown
Angels & Demons
Digital Fortress
and now reading Deception Point smile.gif

When i am done i would have to pick my lazy ass and buy The Da Vinchi Code... duh

I've read them all and i love Dan Browns books, Digital Fortress is great and some of the crypto explained is even right. A+ for his books, even if they are farfetched.

Deception Point was good...I kinda had it figured out from the beginning (Not the why, just what it was lol) smile.gif and I couldnt finish Digital Fortress...Just didnt grab my attentiuon like his other books, maybe Ill try reading that sometime.

Anyways I would read Angels and Demons before The Da Vinci Code. Both great books.

Well its true that after reading 1-2 books by Dan Brown, you can guess the plot for rest of the books only by reading few chapters...

But i still very impressed with his books. When i read like 20% of each of his books, the plot allready became interesting, full of action and developed and i was amazed to find out its only 20% of the book - meaning the main action didn't even begin yet.

Yeah all that crypto information was interesting.
Another reason why i like his books is because i remember so much and learn so much after reading his books, stuff i won't remember if reading enciclopedia (bah thats a taugh spelled word) or an history book...
A+ here also wink.gif

I loathe it. The fact that Dan Brown blatantly makes up information (citing a recent organization as "ancient"), the fact he claims everything is completely true like a prophet, and the fact that it's basically deserving only of the Conspiracy section makes me hate it. It's a horrible piece of literature. It's not even that. It effectively rapes history.

I wasnt aware that fiction books had to have all true information...or else it would be called non-fiction

You know, all he does is take everybody else's work and mashed it up in his book right...

The information he took was accurate, but he pretty makes his own conclusions (to my understanding).

Again, I never took it as something to believe, but it DOES make you wonder what kind of things the church does hide from us, and what really happens in the most secret of places..
