Also Sprach Zarathustra by Nietzsche (definetly been translated to english)

blew me right away - it has it all: philosophy, aforisms, a storyline, ...

Tongkat by Peter Verhelst (dunno if this has been translated to english)

not really philosophical, but it WILL make you think
reads like post-modern poetry, but in novel-form... (if that makes any sense to you...)

yes 'Also Sprach Zarathustra' is about his vision 'the Ubermensch'...
if you are referring to a connection to Hitler's ideal, you did not understand this book.
nazism and fascism came into being several decades after Nietzsches death...

No not at all. I loved it. I think most people who read this book are very liberal as it is, so they probalby wouldn't have any negative comments about it. I just said that because it's a funny word.
