I've read "The Sword of Shannara", "The Druid of Shannara", and "The Elf Stone of Shannara". All were fantastic wink.gif.

I recommend reading them to anybody who wants a long ass series to keep them occupied tongue.gif.

yes... its a rather large series with like around 9+ in the series... i sugest reading the sword of shannara first even though theres a prequal.. u wont get the prequal unless u read the sword because the prequal was wrote last haha... but yes some of them actualy have some good fighting "scenes" that are pretty intense... the sword is probly my favorite...but all of them are excellent... its probly kinda like lord of the rings in the way of time age.. like theres elves and demons dwarfs and gnomes and shit like that but yes very good book and i think they should make a movie out of it ^^

eddit: authors name is something like J.R brooks or t.r brooks im gonna look it up in a sec

The author is Terry Brooks smile.gif. Terrific novels in my opinion. Maybe not to the extent that Lord of the Rings is, but they're pretty unique in their own rights.
