So here's my thought.
Instead of making thousands of topics for everything why not have one where you can chat about every kind of literature

So I thought about picking up Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy as I've seen furbyjs speak well about it ^ Worth doing it though?:D

You mean like a suggestion thread, or just to talk about them?

But yeah, Hitchhikers books were awesome. I've never read any pure comedy books, and I was really impressed.
Kind of upset that I don't own all of them, apparently there's a 5th book I didn't know about....

Where'd you get the gold for a red title?
You never have fg when I look xD

Sure suggestions, discuss about literature and just being friendly.

Gonna try them out someday then, should I watch the movie AFTER or before the books? I mean did they make the movie any good compared to the books? As Eragon and Percy Jackson the Lightning Thief were horrible as movies but awesome as books.

Hehe true that :D I asked some friends for the efge^ as when I did the "Currently reading" topic it looks just like a normal random one >_<

The plot to hitchhiker's guide isn't that important (it's a comedy) but if you watch the movie first, it will ruin a few points. Sometimes it follows the books pretty well, at others it doesn't. I'd read the books first.

I haven't seen the movie yet, but I heard it wasn't too bad of an adaptation. At least it's getting followup movies.

Yeah, I read them all a few years ago, but I don't remember much about them...

The thing with Eragon, not only is it nothing like the book, but it's very, very bad. The script was bad, the acting was bad, it was overall just childish and poorly done.

Aye :/ Only book that's been converted into movie that I've accepted and like is LotR I guess...

I saw that Ender's Game is going to come out as a movie aswell so I hope they'll make it justice though I doubt it. As the MC is like 8 y o and I doubt they'll have an actor that young. Same problem as with Percy Jackson
