I've read(still reading) the Riyria chronicles, Theft of Swords - Michael J Sullivan etc and I really enjoy them

I'm reading Shadowdance books aswell and is on the third one current. They are about thieves/assassins which is really interesting aswell

The Night Angel trilogy read and completed, love them! More assassin then thieving though but still some elements there

Anyone know any other book which includes, as main character, either assassin and/or thief? Set in a fantasy world

Scott Lynch - Lies of Locke Lamora
Someone posted that in the "What book did you last finish" thread, and it looks pretty interesting.

/e That might not be the first book in the series, idk

The Farseer Trilogy by Robin Hobb, starts with Assassin's Apprentice
The R.A. Salvatore books involving Artemis Entreri :)

Definitely gonna check out Among thieves.

Actually read the Farseer trilogy, really like them. Same with the Tawny man series.

That's genius o_o Read like 8 books about Drizzt (startin with the Dark elf trilogy ofc) and never though of reading the books about Artemis Entreri *facepalming*

Actually I've also read

Shadow Prowler - Chronicles of Siala - Alexey Pehov

Which is about a thief aswell. Just remember and I can definitely recommend it. Though the ending was meh, I got very surprised by some of the things that happened :>

These are a great set, I've read them like 3 times.

There's another trilogy in the same world about a thief named Luthien, and his halfling compatriot, Oliver deBurrows. The trilogy is called The Crimson Shadow series.
Book 1: The Sword of Bedwyr
Book 2: Luthien's Gamble
Book 3: The Dragon King

It's not all about his time as a thief, but I don't want to spoil it for you. I prefer the Artemis Enetri/Jarlaxle trilogy to them, but they're good too.

so the Forgotten Realms seem like one to read.

Do I need to read some of the prequel books? or can I just start with one of those two series directly?
