Been thinking about reading some of his novels, anyone have some suggestions on where to start or your favorites?

I was thinking of starting with Dream Catcher whenever I finish the series I'm on now.

Cujo, very underrated.

I've read 30 or so of his books, most of them are really good.

My favorites are It, The Shining and Salem's Lot

I had watched the Shining movie several times before reading the book, usually that ruins the book completely but in this case it didn't matter

His shortstory compilations are usually pretty tight aswell, really can't go wrong with Stephen King.

The long walk and Misery are my personal favorites.

read It by Stephen king, wayyy fucking better then that 80s low budget movie that was made, and is a pretty beasty size if I remember rite

Better yea, but the movie was not bad at all actually.

I would read the green miles, beautiful book.

The Dark Tower series, It, The Stand, Salem's Lot are all primo. The Talisman / Black House was a pretty good 1/2 punch as well. Stay away from Insomnia. Stay FAR away. I also didn't really care for Dreamcatcher =/ How did you feel?

I liked the movie when I watched it a while ago, haven't started the book yet. I have another 1 1/2 books left in this series.

Wait you dont want to read the dark tower till you read at least a few of the others because the characters all merge into that world!
