So I've got problems deciding what to read and got nothing that seems super interesting that I might want to reread it within ~1month (actually done this a couple of times)

A Wizard of Earthsea by Ursula K. Le Guin

A Song Of Ice And Fire should be on your to read list. Especially if you liked the Kingkiller Chronicle.

I also didn't see Lord Of The Rings. Even though LOTR is a lot of exposition (describing landscapes and creating the physical world), it is a classic and it raised the bar for all fantasy fiction.

Other than that, Pullman's His Dark Materials series and Stephen King's Dark Tower series are both pretty good.

Seeing your list i think u'd enjoy The Sword of Truth books by Terry Goodkind

There's an anime adaption from one of her tales I think? Tales from Earthsea it's named anyway

Game of Thrones series?:/ Dropped after ~150 pages, didn't like it at all. (I haven't seen the TV series either, but feels meh...)

and I've read LotR of course but I've forgotten to add it to the list :/(fixed now)


Read some in Swedish, but I don't know which ones are the English comparison, hence I haven't added it :/ But I've read like ~19 Swedish books (which is by far more than the English series compromise of)

Picked this up from an suggestions and so far so good I have to say! Even thought it's not my typical read.

The Name of the Wind - Patrick Rothfuss
The Legend of Drizzt - R.A Salvatore
Eragon - Christopher Paolini

Read them all ^ Waiting for The Doors of Stone - Patrick Rothfuss, hopefully it'll come at the end of 2013 - Spring 2014, but who knows?

The Acacia Trilogy by David Anthony Durham is actually pretty good. Not really well known, but a satisfying read.

Also the Thomas Covenant books by Stephen R Donaldson are kind of cool. I've only read a few, but they're interesting because the main character is more of an anti-hero. He's a really intelligent writer and parts of the book are pretty dense, so make sure you have a dictionary nearby.

I've been listening to Theft of Swords by Michael J. Sullivan while I run and stuff. It's actually pretty good. The characters are likable and the plot is interesting. It's definitely made me run longer quite a few times just so I could listen to more.

Really good recs. Been checking out most of them.

Acacia - Didn't like that the whole kingdom and trust of the father was built on lies and slavery :/ But might give it a try, think my sis likes it aswell

Heard good stuff about Thomas Covenant, deffo gonna check them out.
