so the other day i went to bam (books-a-million) and i bought 3 books

death of a darklord (laura k hamilton)

dhampire (barb and j.c. hendee)

something from the darkside (simon r green)

i finished the first and third books within 2 days, i liked death of a darklord... but i wouldnt recommened it, it doesnt make too much sense..... like the plots not too good

something form the darkside was a good book, its short, slightly more than 200 pages...... but its good, i am planning on buying the other books in the series

dhampire was a good book, i returned yesterday to bam and bought the other 3 books in the seires that are out so far, i read the 2nd book (thief of lives) today( took about 6 hours) and it was good, im going to read the 3rd book in the series (sister of the dead) tomorrow

i think everyone should go out and buy a couple random books that look good

I do this every two weeks at my local socialist book society (aka library) best part is they are free:)

yes but i find that most libraries tend to suck, the one at my high school (when i went to highschool) was good for awhile till i read all the books that interested me, then i hardly ever checked out books because they rarely ever got new ones in

my college library has only req reading and stupid stuff like that, history books and research material....

and the local library in my area has a small selection of fantasy books

Im lucky to have a community that must put value in reading..we have a HUGE newer library that gets alot of the books we read...my teens and tweens are semi tired of the selection though

dhampire is about a half human half vampire slaying vampires.. but theres more to it that that lol

somethign from the darkside is about a mysterious man whos past we dont know and him being a detective and having cool powers n stuff

and death of a darklord is about a band of adventurers getting owned hahaha

yeah.. i got books at my hs library last checked out in 1946 :/ and the local library is prolly worse.



Ive never done this before but i think i will try it sometime

7..ages 7-16 thats why we use the Library every other Friday Im off work and we hit it hard..I love watching the machine spit out a recipt 100miles long and it being the only place that dosnt have their hand out for payment:)
