Anyone else here worship that book? Blew my mind when I read it back when I was 15.

Orwell is one of the best writers in the history of English Literature. You can't read enough of his stuff.

he wrote that book 2 decades ago. (i believe it was 1984 but anyways it was a long time ago)

but he knew there were certain human tendencies of danger. Depending on the person.
Of course government systems and deterioration always a factor.

look at the privacy issues we have now.........
the constant question of how to keep our gov accountable
dont forget about the power that can be abused without morals and as a last resort counters

yeah lol, he wrote the book in in 1949, that makes it even crazier cuz some of things described on the book could very well be related to what we have nowadays.

Humans dont change, technology does.
