Individual book? Hmm, probably The Stand. The Dark Tower as a series is imo his best work though.

dark tower was really good, i did like The Dome and The Stand alot too, as well as Dreamcatcher


the only king book i havnt been able to stay interested in is "Everythings Eventual" and thats actually a collection of short stories...its meh

Just so ya'll know, they are making The Dark Tower movies finally.

Stephen is directly involved, and they are coupling this with a set of mini series t.v shows that will air inbetween the Movies.

No casting releases yet, anyone have suggestions as to who should play what?

Clive Cussler was CONTRACTED to be directly involved with the 2 dirk pitt movies, and both of them sucked (VS the books at least, Sahara as a movie wasnt terrible if you hadnt read the book first)

Is it a movie a book or do you know how they are doing any of the splitting up yet or anything?

They got themselves Ron Howard to do them, he did I am Legend, A beautiful Mind, etc. And if King is as involved as we all hope he is, it's going to rock.



Yah it looks like they will be doing a movie per book, with a bridging Dark Tower mini t.v series inbetween movie releases. The neat thing is, they're using the same actors for the movies as they are for the T.V show.
