I'm currently on book 7 of 12

How do you feel about Drizzt at this point in the series?
Does he ever go to the see the Dark Elves that were mentioned a few books earlier that are above ground?

theres like 16 now.. i lost track after book 12. too much of the same shit. A person dies, OH NOE HE'S ALIVE. Another person dies, but looky here he;'s still alive.

Yea, it does slow down a bit, but I am still reading it...slowly though, cause it gets a little boring

My thoughts exactly. I finished the 4th or 5th series and then said I'm out. It gets to a point where you know exactly whats going to happen all the time, and the characters start to piss you off with their retardedness

The first 2-3 series where godly, the rest where crap/repetitive.

So I guess I don't need to read any more of them? I've only read the Dark Elf Trilogy and Icewind Dale. Good stopping place?

If you want. You can keep reading though if you enjoy them, just stop when they get too repetitive to be worth reading
