Hi
I have found myself re-reading some old stuff and this topic is to give me some inspiration on new authors and you can list your favourite authors here.
So I'll start :
1. Lynn Flewelling - 2 trilogies, both are really good read, great developement of characters and strong story line.
2. Terry Pratchett - over 30 books from amazing discworld and some outside of that land, amazing read for everyone
3. David Gemmel - quite a bunch of stories by this author, nice battle scenes with detailed descriptions really makes you feel like you are there
4. J.R.R. Tolkien - I think no need to introduce
5. J.K. Rowling - Harry Potter books obviously, great read.

So thats my list, wonder what other ppl read here.

Orson Scott Card - Enders Game/Shadow
Christopher Paolini - Inheritance Series
Chris Evans - Iron Elves Series (New Series)
J.R.R. Tolkien - LOTR

Seems I don't read too much fantasy.. Vince Flynn for political thriller - Term Limits

Well If you do read more fantasy you should start with the dragon lance chronicles.
