All help is greatly appreciated
I'm basically looking for something that is nostalgic and full of meaning and life. A book that once you read it will really make you think differently, open your eyes and mind.
The last book that did it for me was The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. I really loved it. Was just something really gripping about it
If anyone can suggest similar books etc that would be great.

That was the funniest book I've ever read in my life.
To stay on topic, though, I recommend The Time Machine by H.G. Wells. It doesn't exactly fit the bill for what you're looking for, but it's an amazing novel nonetheless.

I actually haven't even read it yet, but I've talked to two people who highly recommend it and I'm going to read it soon.
