The Art of War would definetly be a good choice. Naval warfare happens to be one of my hobbies so if you have any questions please ask.

I don't know a good book off hand but if your interested in the tools of warfare such weapon sys I would suggest visiting Raytheon's web site or do some research on the Aegis combat sys or Mk 99 fire control sys. Good read.

The Art of War

Now, is this just the treatsie written by Sun Tzu, or is this the collected publication?

There's a version out there called The Complete Art of War, which contains Art of War by Sun Tzu, and Military Methods, written by his descendant, Sun Pin.

Even if you already own a copy of Art of War, it's a nice book to have in your collection. smile.gif
