just got the first seven books all hardback for 30bucks

just started to read the wheel of time, I am on Shadow Rising and I really love it so far.

why bother, it'll probably be crap and very deviate from the original writing style.

robert jordan lived in my home town...seen his house and met him

are new wheel of time books coming out since robert jordan died? i read all of them that he wrote and have been wondering..

Because some people want to know what happens at the end? Jordan's writing style got bad by his last few books, some fresh blood and good editting might be a very good thing.

Found the book for 3.99 for clearance at Barnes and Noble today, picked up a copy for later reading.

Is it a pretty good book? And Wheel of Time is the first part of seven right?

Wheel of Time is an AWESOME series, however, be warned that the author died before he finished the last book and someone else is supposedly writing it atm.

Edit: Theres 11 books right now and the 12th is gonna be the last one

Old news... and yes WoT is amazing I've read the series like 3 times and once the twelvfth book comes out I'll re-read it again... although my only worry is that because of Jordan dieing and have a new writer that it will have a different feel to it.
