The first is the latest, the last is the oldest.
Some of them were meant to be more of a lyric.

*Days Wasted for Hope
Your wounds are mine just as well,
My tastes of your beauty have broke our families bonds
No haven, been rejected hour-by.
Were dropping down, lower into the frozen days
Your comfort, never letting motivation escape
My half lived efforts, brings enough to cleanse the growling

Keep the worries small, honey, I promise
We'll break loose, through this cold barrier
And rid of even tiniest of boggles
Only Time, I can't promise
Days, Hours and minutes, never tampered
Keep the worries small, honey, I promise

*Hey You, in the White
Hey you, in the white
I see you're anxious to get started
But stay out of this, this is my mess
My memories have been haunted
Now the only way is to leave
I know that its your job
But stay out of this, this is my mess

My memories have been haunted
Now the only way is to just leave

Please step back a few
I wouldn't want to stain that robe of yours
Please don't get any closer, this is my mess

Hey you, in the white
I see you're anxious to get started
I see I've got nothing coming if you don't stop
You keep on saying "Child, this is necessary,
Let me help"

Please step back a few
I wouldn't want ot stain that robe of yours
Please don't get any closer, this is my mess
My memories have been haunted
Now the only way is to leave

Hey you, in the black
Where did that white robe go?
He kept telling me, "Child, this is necessary"
Please don't get any closer

*Depart
Oh mother, I can't control
That lifes gone
Now those pretend beautiful times are gone
How could you lie?
Oh tell me, how does it feel now?

No, my soul has lost everything it could
Now you're nothing but these thoughts
That depart what I share with you

My mother, where did you go?
We showed up at that empty house
That murky house
Brought into the world, left seamingless
Why did you leave?
You opened our eyes, but left it blurry

No, my soul has lost everything it could
Now you're nothing but these thoughts
That depart what I share with you

You made the past
By throwing away today
You'll never be accepted into this life

Oh mother how I wish
You and I could bond
How I wish
You never hinder
We have it all
You've gone astray

No, my soul has lost everything it could
Now you're nothing but these thoughts
That depart what I share with you

*Sounds Perfect
Below freezing,
Too cold to take a step out
No snow to deny the boredom,
Everyones gone, no where to go,
But by the warm hands of the fire

Later, thirst comes to play
Eagerly waiting for water to boil
Mixes are ready, patience is given.
Done - I take a minute sip,
And whisper beneath my breath:
"Sounds Perfect"

*Nothing but a Picture
A tarnished picture
Of your life, it may tone in
't may not
Thou normalcy, may never gain
Thou woe, may never gain
A tarnished picture, is just a picture
But if you would like
You can compare your life
To a tarnished picture, but
Keep in your mind, it is nothing but a picture

*Connection to Aesthetics
Baby don't keep them waiting,
I watch our memories, return to its abyss
Your goals are bringing me down, no ma'am
It doesn't work anymore,
I've broke the barrier few can resist.

No ma'am, I've got studying to do,
Call me back when the past is altererd
Your tone dries at my name,
How does it feel,
Knowing you are nothing in your everything?

Clouds of lies make you feel better,
I walked through it, so can you.
When you do, don't expect
A connection to Aesthetics
But more a drowned friendship.

I watched a memory, burnt out, exhausted;
Shoved around by anothers emotion
Because of what you did, this world will never change.

*Odorless, Colorless Demise
to finalize my murderous plans,
only the deepest of hells river
do i have to swim, to receive the devils blessing
less a matter if i can, leant more upon
what i truely want

never bliss, never
bright
loving
always woe, dark, hatred,
fixing this meal, your last
our last remembrance
vial open, stuffed
poision, it's odorless, colorless,
the perfect remedy

near empty, nearer your abyss
thoughts deeper in, why?
screaming, yelling, stop!
the first bite is taken.
the first drink is taken.

paused around the corner,
only eternity may decide
when again we may speak.
to realize now,
woe,
hatred,
hate,
never existed until I received a blessing from the devil*

*These were all written by me, Jake E.
Thanks!

Crayz I didn't know you were a poet. Good to hear.

I've been performing poetry and spoken word where I live for years.
Send some verse my way.

True poets are grand artists of profoundness.
Those that write and read books skim along the superficial surfaces of literature.

It is same in comparison with short movies and the actual lengthy ones.

Lol, because it doesn't rhyme to your amateur poet(?) ears?
Mk. This forum should be filtered of immature scrubs (you) who try to insult, or something.

Besides -- Writers write how they want. It does NOT have to be grammatically correct.
Why do I waste my time with a scrub such as you? Back on topic

Arcolithe is correct, in a sense. Written novels do not necessarily have to be as profound as poetry, but they have a different style of writing that otherwise makes up.
That is my opinion.
