Occasionally when I open up files in lightroom, the file won't let me select my lens correction profile. I'll go to lens corrections while in develop mode, and I'll go down to lens corrections, I'll click "Enable Profile Corrections", and I'll choose the automatic setting. Under lens profile, I go to the "Make", and select "Nikon". Under Nikon, there's only 5 or 6 choices, and it doesn't include the lens I want. When I check the photo details, it still retains the information about the lens I'm using. This usually occurs when I move my RAW files around to different folders.
If I take a fresh batch of photos and upload them to lightroom, I'll put them in, and when I click "Enable Profile Corrections", it will automatically set my lens. So I'm not sure why the dropdown menu doesn't allow me to choose my lens at other times when it doesn't automatically identify it (I would think I'd at least have the choice to select the lens, but when it doesn't automatically identify it, my lens isn't even offered as a manual choice).
