Discussing gear and what not, also advice on photos.

btw if anyone ever has pictures they want photoshopped, let me know. I need the practice.

Anyways

My name is Nick.

I shoot:

Canon 6D
Canon 17-40mm L Wide angle
Canon 50mm 1.4
Canon 85mm 1.8
Canon 430ex II
2x AB400 Studio strobes
Paul C Buff Wireless transmitter and 2x receivers
few stands/umbrellas/reflectors

Been thinking about a macro lens. Mainly for shooting eyes and whole face portraits.

I really want the 100mm L

Ive got an old canon 50mm I reverse mounted on my nikon and while you can get some good shots, a real macro lens would be so much easier.

what focal length was this shot at? It looks nice and wide but very straight/undistorted.
I want a wider lens so bad.

I like the shot yet again. The big issue I see with it is your aperture is set a little fast, and given the way you shot it, the quick aperture resulted in making part of her look blurry (hair around the chest area).

I was testing my 17-40mm.
This was at like 36-38mm
