I guess I can't post pictures until 50 posts or something. Would be nice if others could link for me.

Cool photos. I feel like the third one could show just a smidge less sky and a little more of the tree, and the same with the fourth one just a tiny tiny little bit less sky and a little bit more of the landscape below (only by a fraction). I wonder if you agree with me?

But I really like the photos. And jayandnix is right... hahaha... I for one can't even judge my own photos so I don't know why I'm judging yours.

What do you shoot with? Lenses/camera?

I guess I can't edit my original post. Most of these are cropped for instagram (I'm too lazy to make edits for this site :p )

I shoot with Nikon's D3200...mostly using my 15-55 stock lens although I do have a 55-200. Both are low quality as far as my lens knowledge goes...

Low quality yes, but still good. Just a little soft if you like presenting images at full 1920x1080 as a wallpaper, or printing large... but otherwise, just as capable as anything else for the most part. And even then, still sharp enough in most cases.

Seems you're putting your gear to excellent use :)

Glad to hear! It's too bad I live in a rather boring area.

Boring areas are just as interesting as interesting areas if you have the right ideas.

I live in British Columbia, just by the US border in the Vancouver area. There's so many things I can shoot, but I find it more interesting when I'm out shooting in "boring" places instead. A sunset, the seawall, buildings in Vancouver, etc, have all been shot so many times that I'm not inspired to go out to the easy places to get some nice shots. Whistler will be nice to shoot when I get out there this year, though I might be going before it starts snowing which will be a drag.

I think what makes a shot interesting is the lighting (and timing), and your imagination. The scenery is somewhat secondary in a lot of ways.
