Ive got a Nikon D3200 and I want to buy a fast prime lens. I kinda understand the difference between crop sensor lenses and full frame lenses and how that would affect things.
I was looking at the 35mm 1.8 DX lens but I saw that there are cheaper and faster options for full frames.

What would you guys recommend?

Just general use, I mainly want something fast for lower light stuff and as of now im leaning towards something a little wider like a 35mm instead of 50mm, but I dont know how many options there are really.
Ive thought about going even wider but I havent really decided just yet.

Also, Im willing to settle for manual focus if the lens is significantly more affordable.

legacy lenses will not be able to achieve infinity focus on modern dslrs since they have the same flange distance.

for indoor use a 35 would be perfect, and for outdoor use a 50.

anything wider and well its just way too wide

I dont know much about extension tubes, but would getting the 35mm and a short extension tube be a good idea?
I plan to do both indoor and outdoor shooting.

idk the crop factor but the 50 will be closer to the 85 and the 35 closer to the 50, plan accordingly.

also, does the 3200 have the body-motor autofocus or do you need to buy the motorised lens?
