How do they get all these pictures into one picture?

Was looking around for a tutorial but its not working.

I am really interested in this since the gifs lose all quality when they are made.

Yeah, I figured the continuous part, I meant the merging thing tho.

I guess I can read up on that as a head start.

Ive never done it myself, but I always assumed you would just overlay the image then erase where necessary, repeat. You could always ask Chantal, shes done a million of these.

Yeah, basically what she said. You can get more fancy with other tools and get better blending results too. But I am not very good at it. I just try to position myself so it's not as difficult :D

Basically its layers, and you erase everything but the main thing in each layer?

Like

Layer 1 someone is on the right side
layer 2 someone is in the middle
layer 3 someone is on the right side.

So in layer 2 you erase the left and right side of the pic
layer 3 you erase the middle adn left side?

Yep, give it a try and you'll see it's simple!

Next question.

Does anyone know of any good books for beginners that I can get

I am getting " The digital photography book" by Scott Kelby later today but I want something that explains all the basics,
light balance, iso, aperture, etc
