Shooting RAW is about having complete control over your photos editing wise. If you shoot jpeg youre a lot more limited. If youre off the mark on exposure, white balance, if you had to set your ISO high and need to get rid of noise, its insanely easy to fix. The size is probably the most annoying thing, youre not gonna want to blow up every photo you take and frame it. But its definitely worth the sacrifice in space. I seriously never switch to jpeg, even my snapshots are taken in raw.
Id go with the wide angle, fisheye might be fun for a few days but I cant see it being anyones go to lens. Honestly Ive never used one but it just seems like more of a trendy, fun lens than anything serious.
Someone else can help you with the wide angle choices, I have no idea on that one lol. I only use primes.
AH, this makes sense now when I open this stuff up with PS xD!

16-35mm 2.8l and call it a day
I will look into that.
Seems nice for around 900 used.
May try finding a cheap one until I can get that much extra cash.
