as i now i have a

16mm 2.8
16-50 3.5-5.6

and im not sure if i want to get a

50mm prime
55-210 4.5-6.3

another issue is that the 50 prime from sony is $300 which is stupid

are there any manual focus 50 to 75 at the most primes? lets say under 200?

the sony alpha 50 1.8 should be less than 300, you must be looking at the 1.4. i got my 1.8 for £70

or are you e mount?

im on emount but 90% ill be getting the alpha to emount adapter and just invest in alpha lenses.

would there be a crop using the alpha lenses?

yes there would 1.5 or 1.6 depending on the sensor in the nex, google will help

hrrm so id have to get a 35 alpha prime to get ~ 50 right

im going to get a minolta 50mm 1.7 with a md to emount adapter :D

Get the Sony official adaptor and you retain af. Totally worth the extra money if u plan on getting a mount lens'

Look into the Minolta 70-210 beercan, again I have one and for £100, it's still one of my favourite lens' even compared to canon L and my leica glass

md mount lens and its manual so i dont need the sony one. ill get it later if i need to

getting the lens for 20 us :D
