Last time I was into photography was back in the 70's and 80's...the 35mm days...Not looking for a serious camera...just one that can take some clear, focused pics every now and then

mildly professional is in the hands of the user

that camera is more than capable of taking "high quality" pictures

show me an example of something you are trying to emulate in your pictures and i can help you further

working the camera will not be an issue bro....I ran prolly 50,000 rolls of 35mm film thru a Nikon F2 back in the day...and developed and printed them too...color and black and white.

Bold: most absurd thing i've heard this week

Anyway, I have no doubt you can work this camera, it's child's play.

What I'm saying is show me an example of something you want to emulate?

If you are just taking snap shots with frontal flash then anything will do really.

So just buy anything that will fit your budget.

Simple snap shots can be done with any old point and shoot.

I'm just asking if you want to do something more creative.
