I need some help with cameras. I am trying to take pictures of products to sell online. What kind of Camera should I buy? If anyone has any experience or knowledge about it would be helpful. Looking for any kind of advice so I can research and decide.

prosumer canikon or similar wont break the bank and will give you all the options you need.

more about the lighting setup and modeling than the camera after that.

product photography is way more about lighting, composition and location (product tent or table etc)
seeing as you dont know much about cameras i would stay away as the lighting side is way more complex and difficult to master

but any entry lvl SLR will be sufficient

For simple product shots on white to advertise for web buy a cheap light tent kit (light box and ~2 lights) Looks like they can be had for as little as 70 bucks from ***.

If you're on a tight budget with cameras, get an entry level dlsr (canon/nikon) and a cheap macro lens.

Cameras that will suffice:

- Nikon d3200 body (seen it for as low as ~$350)
- Nikon d5100 body (seen it for as low as ~$320)
- Canon 1100d body (seen it for as low as ~$300)

Can someone confirm the two Nikon's have a built in AF motor?

Macro lens that will suffice:

- Tamron AF60mm Macro (for Nikon and Canon bodies)
- Canon 60mm EF-S Marco
- Canon 50mm EF 2.5 Macro

Yeah, I saw lighting kits were around that price. So I guess I should research lighting. What kind of program should I use for editing/post-processing?

definately research basic lighting for product photography
if you want a free program take a look at Gimp, otherwise Lightroom 4 or Photoshop CS6

This. You just need a basic light tent and 2 lights, slr/macro lens and a tripod. Easy.

Just download a trial version of lightroom, should last 30 days. If you like it, buy it or "buy it".

It should be enough for simple products on white to post on the web at low resolution.
