Not that any of you remember me ever posting here..
But here's a few shots I took recently, figured I'd share
Any comments are appreciated.

I shoot with a Canon 450d, each of these photos were taken with a 50mm 1.8 lens
I used the facebook links for the picture, pretty sure that lowers the quality of the photo right? :(
I'll re upload them if the quality is really hindered

Yeah, the quality is definetly hindered from the original picture on my computer, anyone know a good photo uploading service?
Used to use photobucket but it seemed to lower the quality as well

Shes so cute! You have to tell me where you got those sunglasses.

Are you keeping your aperture at 1.8? Theyre all pretty soft. Id try 2.2 or 2.8. Also make sure youre focusing on eyes. Other than that they look good!

Oh and I dont know if youve tried clone stamping, but its a huge help with kids faces and snot. My kids get dirty for photos but youd never know it

Thanks! That's my niece that I love to death.
My sister got them for her at Five Below, I think.
Not sure if they have them in your area but it's basically a slightly more expensive dollar store.

I do believe I left the aperture at 1.8 for the mustache one, probably pretty close to it for the others as well.
#3 looks pretty soft because of the glass aquarium being smudged as well, but no doubt I should have up'd the fstop

The only program I have for editing atm is Photoshop Elements so I didn't dabble into too much post processing.
I thought about attempting to remove the snot but then left it in to give the "cold weather" element she was in [we were playing in the snow ^_^ ].
The next chance I have to edit pictures I'll try to edit out the snot and repost it!

I used to go to a mall that had that store. I just looked to see what the closest one to here was and it said 450 miles, lol. Damn middle of nowhere town.

Yeah I was wondering about the snake one, because I couldnt really find where the focus was, no wonder. Clean the cage then take another one :P.

Ive never used elements so I dont really have any advice there. Then again I do what I want cuz a pirate is free, I am a pirate.

If you want any help with cloning or anything Ill be happy to do a quick fix for you.
