I will buy this lens! Just a matter of time. It's also tempting to ... trade someone for it... my zoom for it. but I'd only want to do that to someone I trust... mine's barely used O_O

24-70 is prob the most used and most versatile lens, although my fav is my 70-200 even though its not used near as much

Yeah, I find I don't use my 70-200 as much, but I really do love it nonetheless. I use it whenever I can :D. I can see the 24-70 being used a lot, it's pretty versatile like you say. and it's not so specific if you're needing something back and forth.
